With this painting of my barely six month old Niece, Ella, I watered down my acrylics as to create the correct softness of skin. I think I've achieved this. The eyes have got the perfect gaze of a child and the lack of detail in the peripherals fades away once the concentration is on the focal point, the eyes and nose - as is my trade mark.
